Much more intense than England - Scotland which is at the top of your list. At least Liverpool are somewhat competitive.

i did say in no particular order, and if you don't think that is a fierce rivalry then you are mad, i think it is even more intense because they haven't played each other in a decade, so when they do it will be fierce. and remember, they may have not played one another in a while, these two countries have played each other more than any other country, it's a historical rivalry the oldest international rivalry on earth, and there has been serious incidents in the past when the two have played, and with england set to join the next nations cup they will be playing each other again real soon! do some research, then if you still think liverpool v man united is more intense a rivalry than scotland v england, then you can't see sense!

I think the Scots think it more of a rivalry than the English do. We consider Germany to be a big rival, at least they show up to world cups!

In fairness to England, at least they give us a good laugh when they play (sic) in the World Cup.

yep and guess what, i am a scot lol you say that but theres no atmosphere like a scotland england game, yeah it is obvious that with england germany, being closer in quality (some may differ after the world cup!) and playing each other more often they have become more englands rival, but i think in the past (i did say it is a historical rivalry) when scotland and england could beat each other it was more of a rivalry, but with england set to join the nations cup, i hope that rivalry can be reignited, and i am sure it will be, p.s. english fans may think they a miles better than scotland, and in the present this is true, and they have a world cup but they are a country of 51million people and scotland has 5million, still scotland have beat england many times and are not far behind, the teams have played 110 matches, england have won 45, scotland 41, and there have been 24 draws.

Aggreed mate. I see scotland as a bigger rival than Germany. Although i dislike Germany also, mostly cause they always f**king beat us lol!
Would love us to play to you lot again soon, never been to an england v scotland game but the atmosphere is always special. Would def have to get tickets. I think when a derbt hasnt happened for a good while its always more intense when it does finally happen
