Deuce is amazing. Why he isn't getting looks from clubs bigger than Fulham is beyond me. Landycakes gets all the press and accolades but Dempsey is the best player in the current USA pool. Probably even the best ever.

Are you American Bondurant?

I am so i've been watching US players since forever.."landycakes" has been consistently the best US soccer player for around a decade. He's got a great soccer mind, excellent passing and a great foot, cool and composed finisher. A real legend IMO. Dempsey is sure enough lighting it up but way too early to say "best ever."

Dempsey is the best American I have ever seen closely followed by Donovan, Dempsey is a clinical finisher, every time I watch him play I am highly impressed by just how talented he is.

Donavon is backed by the hype machine. I am not saying he is not good, hes just not the best the US has to offer. I am with paull in saying hes the best American (outfielder) I have seen.

Dempsey has passed Donovon as best US player ever (in last 2 years). But I think it's his size, athlecism and aggression that make the difference (as opposed to skill). Which is fitting because the Premier League has become so big, fast and aggressive, that lots of matches are won or loss based on athletic attributes nowadays.

I think this is a good thing, but alot of people are 'technical skill snobs' - but the world is full of extremely skillful little guys who are not fast or strong enough to begin to pull it off in the Premier League.

As an Everton supporter, this outcome pleases me. But I tend to prefer Deuce over Donovan myself. I would love to have both playing permanently at Goodison, however.

Pete, that was a great day. Pogba looked really sharp; we better keep that boy.
