I prefer Gerrard and then Torres and now Luis Suarez to both of them.

Yeah, I hated him too when he was diving. He can dive all he wants now at Madrid though .

What do you make of Welbeck Pete/Berncohomes? Been a bit off with his finishing but he shows moments of real talent. I feel like he's pretty unpolished but kind of dicey to polish him by inserting him into our starting line up.

Welbeck isn't good enough for Man United IMO, should go for Soldado (Valencia) Pappa Cisse (Newcastle) Doumbia (CSKA Moscow) Cavani (Napoli) or even van Persie .

Raw talent, needs a lot of work, but not my type of player.
Shows some positive signs in one game then dissapears for the next few.
He definitelly needed to score more this season given the amount of time he was getting. Most of his goals came in Utd's biggest wins of the season: 8-2 vs Arsenal, 5:0 vs Fulham, 5:0 vs Wolves, 3:0 vs Bolton.
He had only 3 assissts.
Overall, good squad player, not a starting 11 player for now.

Welbeck does have potential, but as Paul said he is not United material at the moment, that being said he is only 21 and has a couple more seasons to prove himself.

All the other options Paul suggested are a minimum of 4 years older than Welbeck and have had time to grow.

Hey John, if Brad Jones get sent off, who's gonna be your goalkeeper on Saturday?
Suarez maybe? He dives very well .

Edit: According to reports I am reading Brad Jones should've indeed been sent off, but the referee only showed him yellow.

He should not of been sent off as the ball was going away from goal and spinning at the same time while Coates was coming in to clear it. We won it in the end from a Carroll header but it was not a convincing win and there is still problems in that team.

I dont think he shouldve been sent off but it is a disgrace that Ashley Young wasnt suspended or at least fined for his dive. Alex Ferguson is great at crying like a baby when he thinks somebody else dived ...
