Wenger just showed his class. Despite all the pressure and less than super squad he pulled it off. Hats off to him, he'd be dangerous if he had the money Liverpool.

With due respect Irish_Bob, you dont know what youre talking about, Chelsea are historically the 5th best supported side in England (considering there comparative lack of success on the field in that time period its quite a remarkable stat dont you think), they had huge crowds particularly in the 40's and 50's, a period in the 80's when the team was struggling is hardly indicative of their whole history!

man utd
liverpool
arsenal
aston villa

after that , you could take your pick as to who is fifth , im not refering to the last twenty years , i realise chelsea are a big club now , i didnt think an area like west london would have huge die hard football support , its not like chelsea would have had huge support outside the capital back in the day either

Actually I think it lists something like:-

Man Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Spurs
Chelsea
Newcastle.

The historical difference between them is smaller than you might think, I actually once had the full list which was conducted by Newcastle Utd, you can get a full list of every league clubs yearly historical facts average attendance and league position on a site called European football statistics, it even has records for now defunct league clubs like Maidstone Utd for example :-)

He does have the money Liverpool had available to him. He just doesn't use it.

Or, the Arsenal board never made the funds available to him, but yes, Arsenal do have money available.

Arsenal has money, but I doubt with the purchases that he has made that it was available to him.
