That is a pretty bad jersey for Utd, looks like a Tartan red or something. Last seasons is better.

I dont think we can say that until the new manager is sacked after a season or six months. Thats what Chelsea do. I think that the new LFC manager will be given at least two years to get things right.

its not all down to wenger , the board have a say when it comes to loosening the purse strings , from a business POV , arsenal are the best team in the league , they are run by cold hearted , hard headed bean counters

I read the Manchester Evening News every day and it appears that the Sheikh that owns City is going to take their success this year and make it a no holds barred buying spree to up the team even more. They are of course at odds with the "Fair Play" rules set by FIFA regarding spending.

I think the Man U kit is smart actually. Man City will spend big this summer because it is their last chance before the new rules come in.

Something else entirely, but while I was looking up lists of the Premier League's all time greats, very regularly (well, nearly all the time) the name of Matthew Le Tissier popped up. I never saw him play (not even on TV), but after seeing some YouTube-vids, i sure wish i did. What a player, what a phenomenal talent! I cannot believe he was only selected eight times for the English national team! Anybody ever seen this guy play live?

Yep I did. I have a story about Matt but I wont say it because Pete will think I am lying.
