I respect him for that too. I just think that it may have hindered his England chances, although that may have been due to past England managers opting for more workmanlike players. The lure of money has ruined a certain aspect of the game. Loyalty to clubs is harder to come by these days. There are exceptions though, particularly some of the Man United old timers who remained loyal to their club from the beginning.

On another note, at least Southampton are back in the Premier League!

I will never give any credit to that fool. Someone who bashed and mocked Americans following the 9/11 attacks deserves no praise or credit.

Plus, he's not a one club man, nor is it like he stayed with a club like Southampton. He went from West Ham (which he only left because his family members got canned) to Chelsea.
