He was heard shouting, 'fenian' by members of Neil Lennon's backroom staff but they said because the noise in the stadium that they may have been mistaking. And he is a HEARTS 'fan' attacking the CELTIC manager, there's no way he is catholic!

If all you are going to get charged with is 'breach of the peace' for running onto a pitch from the stands and attack a manager what is going on, I mean really!

And you are right about the PF jaggy, they should have charged him with charges that could obviously be proven.

I believe only one witness heard a sectarian comment. That is not sufficient to convict because it is his word against the accused. Like I said, there is no dispute about the assault and Wilson was prepared to plead guilty to that. But, no, the prosecution had to go for the religious aggravation. The PF has failed Neil Lennon rather badly in this.

Nice to see justice represent the public! Not! The opposite of public opinion.

Whoa whoa whoa.....didn't we just have a thread here not long ago where mentioning the feces throwing Germans was "taking a shot at soccer"? You know with plenty of you saying how it's not all that violent etc. Just overblown and what not?

German fans banned throwing feces

Pretty much they need to make an example out of a few of the firms if they had set.

"Just shows how hard it is to find 11 people in Scotland to sit on a jury who don't hate Neil Lennon themselves. This case is baffling, shocking and strangely hilarious."
The above quote made me lol

It was all BS all round, just botchjob after botchjob. Our two countries arent that much different afterall.

The trial has begun of two men accused of a plot to kill Celtic manager Neil Lennon and two other high-profile supporters of the club.

BBC News - Neil Lennon 'parcel bomb plot' trial begins

"I didn't attempt to open it. It felt suspicious, after the trouble at the Celtic match that was on the telly. The contents felt like a bag of nails." - Postman.

It is alleged that the package, sent to Neil Lennon at Celtic FC's training centre in Lennoxtown, East Dunbartonshire, included a plastic bottle containing the substance tri-acetone tri-peroxide, with a wire attached and a plastic bag containing a bag of nails and a watch component.
