Knowing people in Burque there is an interest in football, but not a big enough interest to support a team by any stretch of the imagination.
An MLS team can definitely manage that if the NBA can.

I dunno man. I've been to Burque (a lot) and know they couldn't support an MLS team. There's someone else on here from there that know what the cities like, maybe hell agree.

I don't think Burq would be ready for an MLS team. Go for Charlotte NC or St. Louis or something.

Miami had a team at one point I believe, but I think it should form one again. A lot of South/Central Americans here, although it would take some work to get them to watch MLS rather than South American football, which of course is of a higher standard than MLS. A couple of high profile signings of players in the twilights of their careers might help spark interest again.

I would like to see the following of an had it my way from the current 19 to 24 (which I believe should be the cap for MLS Expansion):

Minneapolis-St. Paul
A Florida team (whether it's Tampa, Orlando, or Miami it doesn't matter)
Phoenix
St. Louis
Another Canadian city (Calgary or Edmonton perhaps?)

The next team for MLS is another New York franchise in 2016.

The only other real contender right now is an Orlando franchise.

Interesting URL concerning which US cities could support a MLS team (among other leagues) in regards to personal income:
