The US did enough to win, but they're not happy with their overall play and you can see it on their faces. They should come out with some fire in the Finals.

while not as exciting as sundays game, this one was very exciting as well.

that goal hope let get by was one hell of a tough goal to stop. wambachs header today was as perfect as they get.

After Sunday's marathon, to win when not at their best shows a lot of heart & grit, I like their chances Sunday!

looks like they are playing japan barring a melt down, they will have plenty of rest and HOPEfully some focus.

i like their chances as well.

Sweet, I totally called the results. Well, at least with Japan.

This should be a great match. United States Women will be playing for their first World Cup in 12 years, and Japan will be playing for their entire nation after that devastating earthquake. They both seem worthy of winning, IMO.

Well... Sweden Gut-R-Dun!!! Terrible red card on #14 and some good acting by the French on that particular play but Sweden was able to pull it out on a beautiful left footed goal....

No worries. It is completely different from men's soccer, for better or for worse. Personally, I watch sports more for the competitiveness than anything else, so I am more than set here. But I do understand where you are coming from.
