Milan did pretty well against Barcelona in the group stage, so either team could go through. It was a great draw for Chelsea. That's not to say Benfica is an easy team, it's just they are not as strong as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Milan and Bayern.

Chelsea have been in better form as of late.

Yep, I've seen that article too. While Spain economy is to become Greece 2.0, they are throwing away huge $ amounts on things like this.
Once the banks start looking for their money we'll see what they are going to build.

Don't forget that only few years ago Real Madrid sold their training ground to clear their debts. They live on borrowed money, but I don't know for how long.

Yeah the island looks great. The new stadium looks smashing and would be a great place to go visit and have a kick around with a football.

Positive draw at home for AC Milan especially as they did not allow any goal. It's open for the second leg. Bayern, Real and Chelsea shouldn't face any surprise and move to the semifinals.

Chelsea v Barca, Real Madrid v Bayern in the semis looks likely (although Milan will give Barca an good game)

I know I won't get much agreement lol but I can see a Chelsea v Bayern Munich final. The semis will be amazing anyway, Chelsea are one of the few teams (if any) to completely outplay Barca in recent years and on more than one occasion. And Real Madrid v Bayern looks a hard one to predict, I have been mightily impressed with how good Bayern Munich have been playing and with Robben and Gomez on their team they can beat anyone on their day.

I sadly agree as a Chelsea fan, but it's a bonus to have made it this far anyway.

What just like the last game where Barca had 1 shot on target and Chelsea should have had THREE stone wall penalties and completely outplayed Barca for 90 minutes? Barca won't slaughter them, I think Chelsea have a better chance than most to beat Barca.
