Had no choice but to let him go. Was not Wenger's choice. Cant stop City's $$$
I just hope they build a team of superstars with huge ego's and they flop.

I hate to disappoint you Brian but City look like they are gelling well together, they are playing great football and are without a doubt a force in the EPL and Champions league this season.

Growing up in south Manchester it was very common to hear from the mouths of whining City fans, phrases like:

"City doesn't buy it's talent, we develop it!"
"United are a joke, all they do is buy the top players!"
"I'd never support a team that has to buy it's silverware!"

I wonder how many blue-noses who used to make those comments have disowned their team??

The bottom line is, they are still called Manchester City, the other team in Manchester.

Yep. Nasri fits right in with all the other bought players at City...he was MIA for Arsenal the second half of last season anyway..

I don't blame him, he'll win nothing at Arsenal with their current transfer policy, if anybody is to blame it's the Arsenals board, they are stupidly rich but still wont release enough founds to make the gunners compete.

If the situation was reverse it would be the same tired song. I'm glad another club is stepping things up and challenging the tedious nature of top flight English football.

Its hardly tedious, ok there's not a lot of competition for the title (think there will be this season though) but the quality of football speaks for itself.

Personally, I have little interest in a league where one club has a 60% chance of winning and another club or two put on the close-but-no-cigar show year after year. I prefer Bundesliga. The league is more exciting to watch because there's competition and the fans are amazing. I'll watch any Bundesliga match made available on ESPN3. When it comes to EPL, if there's no Americans in the lineup, I don't care. When it comes the UEFA competitions I always root against the English clubs.

There I fixed it for you.

Why do you hate the English so much?
