I never said it wasnt a big deal, it is just unavoidable. Pretty much every team in the league has had pitch problems at times. The grass didnt have much time to root, we then played on it up to twice a week all summer and we had our hottest summer in 25 years. That isnt a good recipe for keeping a pitch in great condition. On top of that we had two concerts this summer.

Maybe, maybe not. But, we should make it to MLS Cup. There are very few if any teams playing better than us right now and everyone is healthy. Playing LA in their house and winning would be tough though. I am currently shopping for plane tickets to LA.

Galaxy 1 - Disgusting energy drinks 0

I'm hoping Robbie Keane gets on fire in the playoffs. I remember when he was riding the pine at Leeds United when they were still in the EPL...always baffled me cause he's so talented.

in L.A. i predict Galaxy 3 - Disgusting energy drinks 0

I am not sure we can beat them by 3 goals. But we will prevail. Galaxy just need two goals and play possession.

Seattle is not starting the 1st leg too well, I did not forseen that score.

Bring on RSL. Was scared there for a minute when the Energy Drinks scored first...but in the end "the cream rises to the top"-LD. Shame i can't go to the semifinal game cause of a prior commitment.

Sounds like the MLS is just getting stronger:

Now i'm not sure exactly what kind of absolute statements you can make with these types of comparisons, but what it does show is that the MLS is getting more and more popular.

I'm happy Houston beat the Wizards on their own patch, especially after everything their fans were saying about how Houston has no chance.

RSL going out to LA, no shame in that and what a game it was.

Yes scary when RSL tied us at 1-1...at home that can make players nervy and mistake ridden. Second half we really started to gel and Robbie Keane looked really sharp. Glad to see him do his irish cartwheel for the Galaxy. Can't wait for the final!

I too am delighted that Houson beat Kansas at their ground. Sick of hearing about how jealous we are of their stadium with the worst pitch in the league. 11 years and counting

Id love to see Houston take it to LA now.

Keanes goal was nice and did look sharp but it would have been interesting if Beckermans shot had gone in right on half time.

Not that i would support LA anyway but i really do hope Houston win it as they really did come out of nowhere at the end of the season.
