Watching Team USA in '08 was a lot of fun. Soccer and boxing make the Summer Olympics worthwhile.

Charlie Mulgrew (no better in form full back in Britain at the moment) James Forrest (raw pace) Allan McGregor (reliable top class goal keeper) and Barry Bannan (skillful and great passer) should be in the squad.

Mulgrew should be in the team, he has been the best in form full back in the UK, and has won player of the year in front of Hooper etc, and young Forrest who has been voted BY FIFA as one of 13 best young football prospects on earth (1 of only 2 British candidates btw) should be in the team. Just because most people don't watch Scottish football and think there is no talent up here doesn't mean there isn't, but these two especially should be in the team.

Extract about Forrest - "James Forrest has been nominated by FIFA as one of the kids who could take world football by storm in 2012. The winger, who joined Celtic’s youth academy in 2003, has risen to international stardom with Scotland since making his first-team debut in 2010. Now world football’s governing body have named the Ayrshire-born 20-year-old on their list of 13 top youngsters tipped for big things this year. Forrest, who played at every youth level for Scotland before his senior debut last May, is in some impressive young company including Thiago Alcantara of Barcelona, Brazilian defender Dede, Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, River Plate’s Lucas Ocampos and Schalke’s Germany midfield star Julian Draxler. Others to make the list are Iranian kid Karim Ansarifard, Blackburn’s Junior Hoilett, Greek keeper Stefanos Kapino, PSV starlet Zakaria Labyad, Nigerian Ahmed Musa, Uruguayan Gaston Ramirez of Bologna and Japanese stopper Hiroki Sakai"

How can Forrest possibly not get the team, an U23 team to!
