Poor argument against Rangers FC and their supporters as the same claim could be made of any club. It's easy to support the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona when they have an endless supply of finances to buy winning clubs.

Being a Rangers supporter, I found this kinda funny. Im also a big fan of Liverpool. Why the hate towards Rangers and Celtic? Just because of a few rotten fans?

A huge portion of Man Utd fans are glory hunters. Theyll be in Man City jerseys soon enough. I think its a fair argument

From 63 till 75 they never won the league and 78 till 87 and they never won the league, the fans still followed them. Being a Rangers fan means more to the majority of their fans than being a Manchester United fan does to the majority of their fans IMO, there's political, religious and dare I say bigoted reasons for supporting the old firm.

I have long thought that football clubs should not be allowed to walk away from multi-million pound debts and start again minus a few points; what about their creditors? A real deterrent would be relegation to their lowest county league, where they could start again against pub and village teams. It is not as if there is not enough money sloshing around football to balance the books.
