Rapids did pretty well, will be interesting to see how we gel over the next few games. Amerikwa's goal was fantastic too.

It's been a long off-season.

Sporting KC played very well tonight in DC. We controlled possession but lacked some creativity up top. I think that will come around as we work Bobby Convey into the offense.

Nice corner kick goal in stoppage time to take the 3 points on the road to open the season.

Home opener on St. Patrick's Day. I'm pumped.

Here's to the new season. I hope I can make it to Chicago for a Fire game this season or at least a game on the road.

Welcome to the start of the season!

I went to the home opener at the Home Depot Center...great time. Unfortunately i saw my Galaxy lose to Real Salt Lake 1-3. We played pretty well but our defense looked shaky, Franklin had a poor game. It's alright though i got over it this morning watching United go top of the table

That was a fantastic result for Colorado the weekend, going down to 10 men and scoring two goals. Not sure how we managed to hang on but we did! Roll on New York!

FIFA now involved in Rivero ITC status | Colorado Rapids
Quote:
First, the bad news: the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) - where Rivero was last registered to play - has still not sent Rivero's ITC to the U.S. Soccer Federation, which registers all players that play in Major League Soccer. Since U.S. Soccer does not have his ITC, Rivero is not eligible to play for the Rapids Sunday against Philadelphia.
Its ridiculous that the AFA have not sent off his papers for him to play with us. We need him pretty badly. Hopefully FIFA stepping in will get it sorted for us soon.

Alright guys. I dont really foolw the US football league because it does be on in the middle of the night here but how is Robbie Keane doing at Galaxy. Is he scoring. He had a good loan spell at Aston Villa and looked sharp. I hope he is ready for the Euro's. How is Henry doing in New York. He was looking good back at Arsenal on his loan spell.

Hes doing alright for an older guy, he needs pace to play with him to be affective as hes pretty slow.

Yes he slow but he does get in good positions to score. After all he has over 50+ goals for his country. That is some record to have.
