I admire Messi's skill, but I can't vote him as the best ever because he tore apart my team in CL finals twice (much to my heartache).

I also find it funny that keepers and defenders never, ever, get brought into the conversation of best ever. Yet, there are tons that have been beyond reproach in their careers.
Thats the whole point of it. Its your opinion. It does'nt mean its right. I dont think there is such a thing as the greatest player in the world because its based on facts. I think Messi is and I always will but thats my opinion.

The scary thing is: I have some young nephews playing football, and they just give me this blank stare when I start glorifying Zinedine Zidane and his fabulous technical skills and what he meant to football . With them, it's all Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, Ibrahimovic et cetera. You can't really blame the little fellows of course, but still: what a shame .

Ibrahimovic is not even on the same planet as messi!
Never understood the hype with him, flashes of brilliance hidden inbetween laziness and complacency
