This IS an interesting story. The Russian march probably should not have been allowed to happen, but that is easier said than done. Sounds like the Polish police did the right thing and you couldn't blame the Polish people who weren't amused by it.

But for adding extra color and meaning to the match and tournament, this was fantastic! And most people know not to paint both nations for the actions of a small minority.

Back to football, Russia's lack of size and top athleticism might be the only thing preventing them from winning this thing.

Ireland was outclassed by Spain today. Not that surprising. But their fans stilled showed up, several thousands of them.
