That might work both ways. It's not wise for the borrower to make demands of the lender.

Here's to the Dutch squad overcoming all the odds in front of them. Dismal effort thus far. Do or die on Sunday.

Do or die indeed. Not many Dutch journalists seem to believe in it though, according to what I read in their newspapers. They're fearing two facts: a frustrated Ronaldo that will finally show what he's made of, and a Germany that will not go all the way to beat Denmark. Curious to see what the outcome's gonna be .

He's only tied for second as his nations all-time leading scorer. He can't carry his team like Pele, Maradona or Cryuff could but those men are legends for a reason. It takes more than simply being a great player.

Pele, Maradona and Cryuff also had world class players in their team.

the argentina team of 1986 were a very ordinary team without maradona and would not have beaten england , let alone got to the final

Lol Ricardo Bochini, Daniel Alberto Passarella (two of Argentinas best ever) Jorge Burruchaga, Marcelo Trobbiani, Jorge Valdano, Daniel Passarella and of course Diego Maradonna were hardly ordinary! Do a little research before you comment at least!
