Perhaps they're signing him to clean Zlatan's boots, but I hear you on the AC thing. Might be a good marketing strategy?

In other news, I heard that Jordan Henderson is being chased by Real Madrid.

You know it would be a decent signing, hes tall and can get stuck in. If they put the ball on his head a lot he may do well over there.

As long as they don't expect him to control the ball, dribble or pass, he may be OK.

On a serious note though, it would help English football and our national team to get more English players playing elsewhere in Europe.

He controls the ball pretty well with his chest and does good knock ons too. Those are good traits for a target man.

David Silva will not sign a new contract at City acording to people close to Real Madrid. Madrid also want Modric. I can see both going to Madrid. Madrid will be a lot better if they get these two. That will get Barca in the market to if Madrid sign these two guys.

Mancsters? What do you make of Macheda? Has he done anything at QPR? When i saw him play a few games he looked quite average, like i didnt even notice his present a lot of times.

I'm not sure where Macheda stands these days. He showed such promise a few years ago, but after 2 dismal loan spells (Sampadoria and QPR), his stock has fallen quite a bit.

Then there's the fact that ahead of him in the pecking order still stand Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck, Berbatov (as long as he's still there), and maybe even Josh King or Will Keane at this point in time.

I see Macheda leaving very shortly if he doesn't impress very early in this campaign.
