But how can you put Drogba there then. Rooney is not to young and Gerrard is already a PL legend. Scholes should be there too.

I'm mainly looking at players past their prime or retired. Scholes can be added too.

Drogba 8 seasons - 226 appearances - 100 goals, age 34 and done

Rooney 8 seasons - 251 appearances - 129 goals, age 26 and still has 8 plus seasons left. He will be considered an all time great

Rooney certainly will be a legend. I have nothing but respect for the man. I soil actually like to see him move abroad while he is still in his prime. Only Barcelona or Real Madrid could possibly afford him.

Gotta agree with irish_bob, Ashley Cole, no matter what you think of his personal life, he is the best left back on earth, you can chuck others at me but Ashley Cole is by a long way the best left back I have seen.

I like Ashley Cole as a footballer. He has won so many things in English football. He has won the FA Cup 7 times. Knowone has ever did that. He moved from Arsenal to Chelsea at the right time.

I'm also going to add Ryan Giggs, started at United before the Premiership started and has played every season since then. Has lifted the Premier League trophy 12 times!
