Have a look at this. I watched this last night and i find it hard to believe that UEFA decided that Ukraine and Poland was the place to hold the 2nd largest football competition in the world. Have a watch of it please then leave any comments you feel are appropriate.

Family members from some of Englands Black players have already announced that they wont be going due to fears for their safety.

To be honest I hope the Russia, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Greece, England and Netherlands hooligans wipe these idiotic "hooligans" off the map, I hate hooliganism but these Poles and Ukrainians take the biscuit for just being dumb and I hope the rest off Europes hooligans show them up in their own country. And if anyone thinks this tournament is gonna pass of peacefully with hooligans from Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, Russia, Italy, Greece, Germany, England and the Netherlands in countries where the local hooligans will be baying for blood, then you are delusional. This tournament is gonna be one big f*** up and it is the fault of UEFA for being stupid enough to let these countries host.

I wouldn't go if I was a "majority". The days when English fans could run amok unchallenged in the more genteel parts of Europe are long gone. These men fight back against the kind of pathetic non-fighting charges our hooligans used against innocent members of the public. Stay at home and watch it in the pub; the TV screen doesn't punch you in the face for a beery chant.

I think it's a sad state of affairs that young players like Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ashley Young and Theo Walcott cannot have their families there because of this BS. I feel particularly bad for Ox, because this is is first major tournament. It's times like this when I am proud that Britain is multicultural and generally accepting of multiculturalism. I just think it's sad that certain members of the England squad cannot have their family there at such an important time of their lives and careers. Personally, I would NOT have picked Poland/Ukraine to host the European Championships until they can prove to the world that they can stamp out racism.

They are in denial that there is even a problem from what I have been watching today, Polish FA, Ukrainian FA and UEFA. Since they Poles smashed up my city and permanently scarred a 14 year old innocent boy on the face with a knife last year when Dundee United played Slask Wraclow, I hope the Croats, Italians and the like smash up their back yard.

Id like to see it pass peacefully and dont hope for any kind of violence but I think what I hope and what will happen are different.

UEFA and FIFA are on some kick of sending the greatest tournaments on earth to third world and backwards countries recently. I hope what happens at this tournament and how bad it will be in Qatar (for different reasons obviously) held them wake up and choose a decent nation to host the games.

Can someone explain why these hooligans like to fight and cause damage and destruction? I know fans can be intense in their support of their team, but why got after opposing fans to attempt to hurt them?

It's unfortunate. I like when Eastern Europe gets some attention in soccer. Western Europe (Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, England, Netherlands) seem to get the bulk of the attention.

England not qualifying for the US world cup was one of the best things to happen to football.
