I cannot understand how the World Champion has to resort to cheating to beat Croatia. Offsides goal, hand ball, two calls that should have gave Croatia PK. Just awful. I am hoping for another Greece upset. I want all the money teams to go down.

Lol their goal was not offside! Keep in mind that the ball was played into Andres Iniesta, who is on the far side, and not Navas on the near side, so where Navas is does not matter. If Croatia want to appeal to the ref for ruining them then they might be better off asking why a penalty was not awarded moments earlier when Sergio Busquets dragged down Vedran Corluka. That potential goal would have put Croatia through, with a 1-1 draw and Italy 2-0 win seeing Croatia through. The supposed offside, though, looks like the linesman got it right. I agree Croatia were thew better team on the night though.

The consensus is that the goal was offside. I cannot argue anymore on this because it will go on for a decade. The fouls on Corluka and Mario were so blatant that there is no way an honest official could have missed them. UEFA has shown that they are concerned with profit first and competition second. Go Greece I hope they can knock out One of UEFA'S big money makers today.
