No I didn't. Good for you if you dont like it. I dont care. It means nothing to me if some Americans dont like it.

I dont act like you thrashed it. All I said was that a lot of Americans do thrash it which is true.

You seem to be the one getting sensitive about it. As I said I dont care if you dont like it. I really dont. I am one of them that dont call it soccer but I dont care if you do. A lot of people over here call it soccer.

There are loads of sports in different countries all over Europe. In Ireland there are two sports that go before football. There is loads of sports over in Europe.
.... I really think you're just reading what you want to read.

Almost every response you gave me was way off from what I was talking about.

That is changing and very quickly, I went to a Rugby high school and had pretty much the attitude to the sport you are talking about back then.

Soccer was only introduced as an optional sport in the last couple of years i was at the school, each age division was only just able to scrape together one team, compared to 7 or 8 rugby teams, all the kids who played soccer were pretty unpopular.

These days i play soccer, watch more live soccer games than rugby games, and that school I attended has as many soccer teams as it does rugby teams, It's now biggest participation team sport in the Australia.

The new national A-league has done a lot to break down the ethnic boundries upon which the previous national soccer competition existed and bought it to the main stream, it still needs much more money and media exposure to take it anywhere near the popularity of the Rugby League and Aussie Rules competitions however.

The A-League is a pretty badass league too IMHO. Been watching the games on Fri/Sat here for a couple of years. Like watching Brisbane.
