Hi Paul, are you really as excited as you say you are!? I have to say I am not excited at all, it seems a waste of time to me and so close to the start of the season too! As a boy I used to look forward to international football but not anymore - like many English fans the EPL is what matters to me now. Before you say anything I know its wrong and that I should care more, but let's be honest neither England or Scotland are very inspiring anymore! I remember a time when both Scotland and England were top world teams - but not anymore, this game is a friendly between two 'also rans'. The problem for me is simple, kids now spend their time on their backsides in front of PlayStation's instead of on their feet kicking a ball and until something is done to get them moving the English and Scottish teams will stay as 'also rans'. Of course I'm hoping that 'my lot' beats 'your lot' and I will probably watch the game, but unfortunately the rivalry will be nothing like it was 50, 30 or even 20 years ago :-(

Yes I am that excited.

Yes we aren't as good as we once were but wait till you see the atmosphere, it isn't about talent it is about pride.

To right there. Shocking, we did have a lot of under 21s called up to the senior team for the game at wembley though. Basically 7 of the starting 11 are in the senior team for the England match. Lets hope the youthful team will play with no fear.

So, how did Scotland do?

Belgium played mediocre against France. Courtois, Kompany, Van Buyten good; Fellaini, De Bruyne, Hazard decent: Lukaku lousy. I cannot believe that kid plays for Chelsea.
