Phenomenal goal for sure - just too bad it had to happen against Anderlecht .

And about Chelsea sacking Di Mateo: if I'm not mistaken Abramovitsj already had planned another coach for this season. "Unfortunately" for him, Di Mateo won the Champion's League. Anyway, Chelsea are a joke: the ninth coach in 9 seasons? Whatever they had of a soul, money long since replaced it .

Of course he does. Instead of getting behind their manager, they are planning protest.

The thing about Rafa is that he is a really nice guy. I have met him in Liverpool a few times. He is a top manager to. He was at war with the Liverpool board who were driving the club into the ground and he was still fighting for the league and Champions League. He doesn't deserve to be booed and slagged by a crowd who wave plastic flags.

Rafa Benitez you're not welcome here - YouTube
Load of plastic *****.

It's unfortunate that Roberto was fired. Roman has played musical chairs quite a bit since he has owned the club. I was annoyed when Jose left, thought he did a great job. Was annoyed again when Carlo was let go, thought he did a good job.

It is what it is. I have been annoyed by the reaction by some Chelsea fans. They seem to be more pissed at Rafa than they are at the man who fired Roberto and hired Rafa, I have no problems with Rafa and think he is a solid manager. Regardless of what he has said about Chelsea in the past. He is the manager now and he should be supported.

Agree with tam, misdirected anger. Rafa didn't cause this.
