I dont think he means what you think. I see his point. I pay for Sky Sports and yet they never really show Liverpool. I would rather pay to watch my team play rather then watch QPR v Wigan. Its just part of the package and its the way it is.

To be fair though Bernco, they would show the huge games like Man Utd Chelsea, Liverpool Man Utd, Man City Chelsea etc... over the likes of QPR v Wigan anyway.

Why would you need Sky Sports to see Liverpool when youre a season ticket holder and go to see most of the games =)

I like watching the little teams, its why I support Shelbourne, Colorado and Liverpool anyway.

Cant go to away games and its very hard especially now to go to home games because they are all on a Sunday so I will have to watch a lot of games on tv. Its been like that ever since we got knocked out of the CL.

He pays subscription so he can see the replay and analyze the play .
Ofcourse he watches all the games at Anfield, that's why season ticket is for, right?

I'm from Manchester, I want to watch United. I don't give a **** about the other crappy clubs when there is a big match like Chelsea/United playing.

WTF does top 40 CD's have to do with me watching United?

John pretty much got what I meant. Obviously they don't get (or give a crap) about the whole concept of big matches here.

It would probably be the end of the channel.

Because aside from big time EPL matches, it seems like there is little reason for the channel to exist.

You can claim glory hunting all you want, but no matter where the biggest baddest teams attract the most attention.

I don't think BeIN sports could show ALL those leagues though.

Fox Sports Soccer and Fox Sports Soccer Plus are where it's at if in the U.S. Espn showing EPL games is more of a novelty as they show 1 a week. For instance this week's United game v. Wigan is on live at FSS +

Bob Costas just mentioned that NBC had secured the rights and starting August of 2013 they will begin their coverage.
