Why? Anyone reading the question would default assume it is an issue of simply comparing the current talent levels.
The talent level of Championship clubs is superior and the rosters have more depth. This all leads to finances, something the MLS clubs do not have.

Plop the Galaxy in the EPL and they would sink like a stone. I doubt they could even get promoted if plopped in the Championship.

QPR have a crap team. They can hardly play together. Wigan have shown you don't need a talent filled team to stay up.

Wigan had Rodaega last year and they have Jordi Gomez, Jean Beausejour, Maynor Figueroa, Franco Di Santo and Arouna Kone.

They aren't top quality in anyway. Everyone you mentioned except Rodallega were inconsistent and they weren't very good at finishing. You can argue that Moses and Rodallega alone saved them. They also have a decent keeper plus with the money the MLS clubs can make through the EPL. They can improve the side. Di Santo was their leading scorer by one but considering the chances he had he should have had more. They had the 3rd lowest goals scored in the league last season.

Their biggest savior was Al Habsi in goal the fact that they only conceded 62 PL goals (less than 2 goals per match) is a testament to him. Martinez still had work to give their team a chance. They would have been finished if they didn't beat Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle during that desperate season concluding run. You know MLS is horrible and Wigan is the best team ever, right?

You're hilarious. Keep on the anti-American B.O.B if you like but you really know nothing about football yourself. Wigan would not win the MLS championship. Also, Wigan couldn't financially afford the team they do have considering the money MLS teams make. Then again, you're in Dundee. Perhaps you're bitter about the 5-1 pasting the US gave you.

Get all defensive if you want! I am just saying the truth, you can disagree but plenty more would agree.

I would say Wigan would probably win MLS. Theyd top the conference for sure, you never know what would happen in the playoffs though but I would bet on Wigan doing it. I know Colorado would give them all the points needed thats for sure.
