The MLS is very wary when it comes to putting teams in the South. Houston and Dallas are exceptions due to their very large Hispanic populations and being the 2 largest MSA's in the South.

Don't forget San Antonio.

Watch for the SA Scorpions FC in the next few years...

Being that there are already 2 MLS teams in Texas somewhat hurts San Antonio's chances of acquiring an MLS franchise. What also doesn't help is that San Antonio is a small market city that barely reaches 2 million people.

The problem with using "Euro" names is that only 2 countries in Europe are English speaking lol.
