I dont know that LA is the best team. They are among the best but we really dont have a clear cut best team. San Jose, LA, Seattle, and SKC are among the best for the last two years. RSL is up there too. Any season it can change. We see teams go from Supporter's Shield winner to not making the playoffs in a couple of years sometimes.

I am not a fan of LA but looking at the stats I believe they are the best team. Obviously there are stronger teams LA, SKC, SEA, RSL, HOU and weaker TFC, CHV, NE. Winning the MLS Cup 2 years running and the SS multiple times shows they are the best at the moment. Obviously, nothing is a given so who knows what they will do this reason.. LA sucked for the first part of last season.

NCAA soccer does not play by FIFA standards and coaching is poor in many places except for top level schools. Academies will do much better at developing talent.
Noted, but colleges must be still be way ahead of the youth academies.

The US is playing a World Cup qualifier at CenturyLink Field on June 11. Should be a good atmosphere.

LA has the right recipe for success by pairing players like Keane, LD(when he returns), and other veterans with young academy players (Villareal, McBean).

They have the revenue to go out and get another top quality player. Seems like we're waiting for either Lampard or Kaka.

Kaka would be huge for the club.

Lampard and Kaka will stay in Europe I think. They can both almost get on any European team.

Kaka's agent has reached out to at least one MLS club (Sporting Kansas City) and I am going to take that as a sign that he may have reached out to more to at least talk about the possibility. I doubt his agent would be doing that if he didnt have an interest.
