Football needs media personalities like C.Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic. They're keeping us all entertained, whether we like them or not. Football would be a lot more boring without excentric players that divide public opinion. The media is always on the side of hate because that is what sells (no matter the celebrity). Give me a Ronaldo or Ibra over a humble-but-bland player any day. At least they have the talent to match their ego.

"Without me, the World Cup is nothing to look at, I know that for sure."

- Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Swedish media after the match.

Zlatan is such a comedian but he's right. I would have liked to have seen him in Brazil. He's already getting old and that may have been his last chance to shine in a World Cup.

What do u guys think about this?:

World Cup 2014: from Spain to Algeria via England

an individual rating of the 32 teams classified for WC, by two journalists from The Guardian.

They say some interesting things about some of the team, and this is the order in how they rated them:

1 Spain
2 Brazil
3 Argentina
4 Germany
5 Italy
6 Holland
7 Portugal
8 Colombia
9 Uruguay
10 France
11 Belgium
12 Chile
13 England
14 Croatia
15 USA
16 Russia
17 Japan
18 Switzerland
19 Bosnia
20 Nigeria
21 Ghana
22 Ivory Coast
23 Mexico
24 Ecuador
25 Cameroon
26 Greece
27 Australia
28 South Korea
29 Costa Rica
30 Iran
31 Honduras
32 Algeria

(the first 3 teams are virtually tied in points according to this journalist, 62 to spain and brasil, 61 to argentina)

Hmm, seems like a fair list to me . Well, except maybe for Germany, who should be tied in points to the first three teams. And Japan also thoroughly impressed me, so I'd put them a bit higher on the list as well.

I won't miss him at all, I don't like people like that, compared to him even Ronaldo is humble

Maybe even the US will get far, not least thanks to their German coach. That would probably bring about a big boost for soccer in the US.

Zlatan is a joker though. He's not meant to be taken literally. He can come across as arrogant, but he came from a fairly poor background and a tough part of Malmö. Ronaldo sometimes actually comes across as a twirp.
