As an Everton fan, I am pretty sure it is going to be Moyes. From everything I have read with other Everton fans, this may have even been setup to be like this. Moyes has been the favorite to take over for years and I dont think it is a coincidence that Moyes contract is over at the end of this season and no new deal is in place, nor has it been discussed or pursued. I think all parties involved have known this was coming and it was an expected transition. However, we could all be thrown for a loop.

Default Overrated!!!!

Not even the best Scottish manager of all time.

Jock Stien was voted in 2003 by Scots as the greatest Scottish manager ever.

Jock Stien won the European cup with a team of all Scotsmen.

10 Scottish league titles in 13 years, 9 in a row versus 12/26 years

15 Scottish cups/Leauge cups between 1965-78

67' Celtic squad won everything they entered, better than Fergusons treble

Champions League/Euro Cups

Bob Paisley won 3

Ernst Happell, Omar Hitzfeld and that "primadonna" Mourinho was it twice with different clubs

9 others have won it twice

================================================== =============

Ferguson is overrated, coached in a big media, hype era, big budget, never had to go to a new country, learn a new language culture, league etc.

are you people really saying that that isn't more impressive?, it's way more impressive to win Europe with a small club, move on to a new country, new language and league and win it there. Handle new players, big name players with differnet egos and still get the most out of your squad.

Yep Everton just confirmed he's gone at the end of the season. Think he's going to find it hard with AF breathing down his neck.

Wouldn't call Ferguson overrated at all. However, he has had an advantage over other contenders and that is that he has been at the same team for 26 years. What would be the outcome if we gave Pep Guardiola that time at Barcelona? Would he have achieved as much as Ferguson? I think he could of doubled what Fergie did.

Bob Paisley won 14 major honours with Liverpool in 9 years. He is the only living manager to win the European Cup 3 times, let alone with the same club. What would happen if he got 26 years?

I am not saying Ferguson isn't the best(because I honestly don't know who is), but all I am saying is that he has had 26 years to do so.
