here comes a hater! The Dolphins & the Heat are very popular especially now the the Heat are in the Finals. The Marlins keep having firehouse sales with their players so that has to do with bad management and you can't keep fans if you keep getting rid of good players so stop ragging on Miami saying we don't support our teams.

I hear Orlando is set to get a MLS franchise, "Orlando City". Don't hear much of one placed in Miami-Dade, aside from Beckham sitting next to a Chilean billionaire at the Heat game a couple weeks ago.

The Citrus Bowl Stadium hosted World Cup 94 matches, none for Miami...They will build a new "soccer only" stadium, just like every other MLS club has done or will do. MLS does not want to play in American football stadiums that hold 80,000, they want cozy, European type grounds that hold 30,000 so the stadium doesn't look like nobody is there when you have 20,000 show up. Best bet for South Florida is to build a stadium for "soccer" only, rehab Lockhart, or play at FAU's new stadium holding 35,000.

Both of the college football stadiums in the miami area (FIU & FAU) have under gone remodels and are fairly small. I know both have had some soccer activity and FAU just hosted ecuador & germany as seen here

WPEC-TV CBS12 News :: Sports - Germany dominates Ecuador at FAU Stadium

Also, there is zero chance Seattle has a soccer specific stadium built. When Century Link went for vote the ability to serve as a dual purpose for soccer was built in the proposal (as well as a ton of other things to get it to pass). They also sell a ton of seats and it's a great environment even if it's less than 75% full.
