Tahiti looks better than I thought against Nigeria...or was it a combo of Nigeria looking worse? But yes, Spain has way more patience and structure than Nigeria...they will dominate.

Nigeria were bad. A LOT of their best players missing also.

Frankly, I hope Spain will take it easy on Tahiti. I don't like the underdogs being humiliated. So for once, I won't mind if Spain just plays ball possession. Because if they go for it, it'll be an unparallelled slaughter-fest .

Agreed ... I personally won't watch that one.

Mexico doesn't deserve to make the World Cup, they're a joke right now.

What is fun about that? Watching a team of the best in the world just destroy a team who barely have a professional footballer of any level amongst them? It is unsporting, and unfun. Just as well to watch them playing no one with an empty net.

Great football matches are the ones when there is something in the ballance. Where there is competition between the sides. Same with any sport - a high scoring match (4-2, 5-3, whatever) might be fun to watch, but who wants to see an uncontested blowout?

To me there are only two possible outcomes from that game - a mind-numbingly boring match where Spain pass it around the back for 60 minutes trying not to embarass the little guy, or else an unsporting, unbecoming demolition of vastly inferior competition.
