Didn't they just go like eight straight games in Mexico City without scoring a single goal?
Then they got smacked by Panama who was playing without their best striker, barely beat a horrible Canada team and beat Martinique. I would sure hope they would beat Martinique, considering I've never even heard of that place. Why don't we take the blinders off, this team will be lucky to even make it to Brazil.

I want them to win, they are the team we follow
But in reality, they have a long way to go.
IF they play as aggressively as they did against the last team they will at least be competitive.

I didn't expect Mexico's 'B team' to go as far in the Gold Cup like they did (semis). I think the U.S. has this thing pretty much locked up. I predict a final score of 3-1, U.S.

-Cheers!

the mexico team from 2011 was incredable on par with England or Holland and better than france or italy. but this mexico team isn't even a top 50 team.

1. England hasn't been better than France or Italy in decades ...
2. Mexico has never been on the level of any of the four countries you name.

your first point is laughable does the 2010 world cup suddenly not count? France and Italy both finishing bottum of their groups while england atleast made the round of 16. as for your second point, that's why mexico have a competative record with italy? 1 win 2 draws and 1 loss in the last 4 games. And last I recall mexico beat france comfortably at said WC.

Dundee United are unbeaten against Barcelona in all 4 meetings, does that make Dundee United on par with Barcelona??

Ridiculous!
