I have to agree with many and state that the German national team seems to have the talent and history to win it.

It would be saddening if they choke and lose in the semi-finals but maybe this time it'll be different.

No European team has ever won in South America or the Americas so perhaps that curse will be broken.

The Spanish national team is ageing but they still have great talent and the Brazilian team will also be a favorite because of home advantage and their footballing history.

Brazil on the point that the WC is in Brazil, and hosting teams always have a huge advantage.

My underdog surprise would be Ivory Coast or Ghana.

Either Spain or Germany.

Brazil gets an honorable mention.

the later stages of the tourney will be dominated by south america, with final being all south america. Argentina,Brazil,Chile, and Colombia all have what it takes to win it.

In the poll I picked Germany but I'll be rooting for Argentina. The U.S. will be fun to watch and they'll have a good WC.

-Cheers!

Ivory coast is a maybe for me. there good but not so good as to survive a group of death, for them it really depends on the luck of the draw.the last 2 wc the draws have given the the group of death but if they can get an average strength group the'll make it through and if the get a bracket like uruguay did last wc or turkey did in 2002 then they can make the semis but that's as far as I see them getting. now as for ghana I think they are still to young for this WC. 2018 is when they will do better, plus they already had the luck of the draw last wc I doubt it'll be on there side for a 2nd wc in a row, 3 and out is what will most likely happen to them.

Think it will be the usual powerhouses of the game from start to finish. Spain, Argentina, Germany and Brazil in the semis.
