Wow BVB really are there own worst enemy. they could have easily won todays game 5-0 they just couldn't finish their chances(sound familiar?) great showing by them now they just need to focus on bundesliga and german cup so they can get a top 3 finish and at least make the german cup final.

Great games for what seemed like a throw-away day last week.

- Dortmund received a break with Ronaldo out & Lewandowski back. But unfortunately Goetze's replacement Mkhitaryan continued to struggle and cost the team 2 fairly easy goals. Wiedenfeller was a brick wall. Lewandowski & especially Reus shined. How much superior is Marco to Garret? Real was very lackluster, hints to how inept the team is without Ronaldo.

- PSG chocked on a goal surrendered in the 87th minute. It's disappointing to see a team move on because their opponent was out with injury, especially considering the style of play Chelsea plays. Hopefully we see a Real vs Chelsea match up next round.

Mkhitaryan is a good player, he is actually more attacking than Gotze. He should have scored though - bad day at the office. BVB were brilliant tonight and were unlucky not to get extra time.

And Chelsea were by far the better team over the 2 legs, 50/50 in Paris and were unlucky to concede a late goal. This leg in London they were completely dominant - hitting the bar twice and fighting to the end and got their deserved victory.

Bayern are looking very average right now, hopefully they wont play the 2nd half for a draw.

Whatever stream I got was flashing between both games. Was pretty good. Sucks to see Barca out but the best team won, always glad to see Utd lose.

Atletico are brilliant, who said La Liga is poor? 3 quality sides and Valencia etc are just as good as the EPLs ''Europa League spot'' teams. La Liga looks to have overtook Bundesliga after just 1 season of Bundesliga being 2nd best.

The results today were absolutely fantastic! Of the remaining clubs, I am partial to Bayern but it would be great to see Athletico go the distance.
