Celtic losing to Ajax and their scumbag fans showing their true colours with fights and attacking police. Good night overall I say!

YEA!!!! all 4 German teams are in pole position to qualify for the next round . thanks to Dortmund's 3-1 win today against Napoli they control their own fate as all they need is a win against Marseilles to progress. Schalke 04 also control their own destiny despite only drawing against Bucharest as the play Basel at home in their next match and a win guarantees them progression. as for the 2 other German side bayern has already qualified for the round of 16 while Bayer Leverkusen can do so with a win at home tomorrow against Manchester United and a Shakhtar loss. Things are looking good for the German teams in the champs league.

so the break down by number of clubs likely to qualify for the round of 16 by country is as follows.
Germany 4 teams
England 4 teams
Spain 3 teams
Italy 1 or 2 teams
France 1 team
The rest 2 or 3 teams

Apart from United, the other 3 English teams should do pretty well. Man City may finally reach their potential in the tournament this year. I can't see Man United going far under Moyes as he has no Champjons League experience.

well today they will really be tested. Leverkusen hasn't lost a home game so far this season and the only time they didn't win at home was against Bayern Munich...I fully expect Leverkusen to win this game but it will be interesting to see how Man U try to cope.

Can't see them getting anything. They were pretty dire in Cardiff.

Totally forgot there were CL games yesterday. Ajax beat Barca They're only 1 point behind AC Milan so they might even make it through (will be hard though). At least the third place is pretty much guaranteed.
