MLS will get pancaked in any top euro leagues but I think the best Brazilian,Argentinian, and Mexican clubs could finish mid table in Europe.

Depends on the league. You mean in the big 4 leagues?

yeah I could see Corinthians finishing 10th in the EPL or River plate finishing 9th in the bundesliga. the gap between europe and south america is certainly there but it's not quite as big as people make it out to be.

I don't believe any team outside Europe can finish in the Top 14 in England or in the Top 8 in Spain/Germany/Italy.

Average Market Value (Players) - Premier League

Manchester City - 19.7 million
Chelsea - 17.6m
---
Tottenham - 13.4m
Manchester United - 13.1m
Arsenal - 12.1m
Liverpool - 11.2m
---
Everton - 6.3m
Newcastle - 6.3m
Swansea - 5.1m
Southampton - 4.2m
Sunderland - 4.0m
---
West Ham - 3.8m
Stoke - 3.8m
Aston Villa - 3.6m
Fulham - 3.6m
Norwich - 3.3m
WBA - 3.2m
---
Cardiff - 2.2m
Hull City - 2.1m
Crystal Palace - 1.6m

All in Euro's.

Corinthians average market value is 1.9m and River Plate 1.0m.

I don't think it depends on the market value Cardiff 2.2m defeated Man City 19.7 m. Corinthians 1.9m last year defeated Chelsea 17.6m in the world cup. Yet Manchester United - 13.1m 4th in the AMV won the league. Wigan Last year didn't have a good AMV and they won the FA CUP and Swansea 5.1m won the League cup. It depends more on tactical differences and experience most teams in Comnebol consist of young players or old players returning from Europe
