The trophy's in sight for City and Arsenal ... unless someone can slay the giants. Also, I'm sure Sheffield is abuzz with a possible derby fixture this late in the tournament.

I can see Manchester City winning the double this year.

Things aren't looking so rosy this evening.

Chelsea have hit a hot spot in the PL, and City need to win all three games in hand to draw level on points.

However the big upset was this afternoon, and I didn't expect this; Wigan beat City at the Etihad in the quarter final of the FA Cup, a repeat of last year's final!

Flipping heck!

BBC Sport - Manchester City 1-2 Wigan Athletic

Now then Arsenal- if you don't win the FA cup this season then you seriously have to ask why they have kept faith with Wenger for all these years without a trophy.

Well they made hard work of it and after scrapping through against Wigan they came from two goals down to beat underdogs Hull in the final.

So Wenger keeps his job.

I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.

I would like to see Arsenal do far better than they do.
