If he wasn't a traitor and would spit the marbles out of his mouth I might find the time to press play but he wont change so I wont.

Fair enough. I've followed his career. He certainly can rile. Thats' why if he ever does go to manu I'm not so sure he would or shold be the man for the TOP job considering his fiery personality. With Keano, there's apparently no middle with him. But in my opinion I think if he could successfully implant his mental strength to win onto the Irish team well things could greatly change for them after all the years.

ManU might be daft but they're not stupid.

Keane doesn't stand a cat's chance in hell of getting the vacant position at Old Trafford.

Keane is a horrible manager. The only reason Ireland have sucked so bad is cause Trap has no clue about the pool of players available to Ireland and insisted on playing a style we werent capable of and not picking our best squad. He wont change anything. If Ireland's fortunes do turn it will be because of O'Neill IMHO, that is unless he goes looking for any English player who is too crap to play for England which he was rumored to be looking at a few players like that. Anyway thats a different thread altogether ...

Right....And I'm with you on O'Neill and as far as Keane I just think Keane simply ran on 'mental' strength in his career. He wasn't a technically brilliant player but he just pushed himself to compete. His value to Manchester was his effect on the others he played with. Loose cannons are dangerous but I think Sir Alex knew how to get the best out of him without blowing up the whole team.
