I still think Messi deserved it more. I cant stand watching Ronaldo and all his diving.
What has that down-syndromed looking dumb ass done this season? Nothing.
He's been injured.
You talk about Ronaldo diving, but Messi is another one that loves to do it, the same can be said for the other Barca divas (Busquets, Fabregas, and Alves). They're the lowest of the low.
I like Ronaldo but this year the trophy should have gone to Frank Ribery,he has accomplished more than Messi & Ronaldo combined.
It's just a shame.
If the Balon d'or was based on trophies won then hands down Ribery would've won it. Last year he won all major club trophies, and including the UEFA Super Cup plus the Club World Cup. But it's not like that, it's about the individual how he performs.
Based on his playing position, wingers usually get overlooked because many focus more on forwards.
