Friend of mine scored some tickets for that game paull. I think there will be a lot of fans mixed together too. The FAI even bought tickets for Scottish end and sold them to Irish supporters.

Horrible to see that goal go in but it was inevitable. We did OK for periods but all the strong attacks came from Scotland except for the last ten minutes of the game :S

Funny to hear McGeady get booed, I hope England returns to favour to Scotland when they play =)

What do you think of that early tackle ? I thought it should've been a Red as he had the pace to get that ball.

Fortunately in 2016 I will be old enough to drink legally finally so at least I'll be able to watch Russia play while drinking sangria

Better I post this here than where I did.

I don't watch England play as a rule- it's far too painful.

However I did turn the TV on just as Harry Kane came on as a sub against Lithuania last week.

There was such excitement amongst the crowd.

It took him all of 79 seconds to score!

Now I don't want to build up any more hype about this young player, but it does frustrate me that Hodgson, who is still the manager after the bloody farce in Brazil, is too conservative.

Anyhow, with players dropping out of the friendly against Italy tonight, Kane starts for England.

Still not sure that I can bear to watch though!

Why did I just switch the TV on?

Half way through the first half and this idiot decides to see how it's going against Italy.

The first thing I see makes my heart sink- Phil Jones of ManU is playing.

Seconds later he is his usual inept self and Italy score.

Oh, and Chris Smalling, another inept one from the same team, is also playing.

We must be desperate.

I know, why doesn't England call up some English players from Chelsea? Wait a second...
