Wait what? Ok so if Uruguay lose to Italy and England beats Costa Rica, they're still in this? By how much would England have to beat CR?

I know right! Every match is like a knockout match. Each match is unpredictable.

If Italy beat CR by one goal, England need to beat CR by two goals to overtake them.

If Italy beat Uruguay by one goal, England need to beat CR by one goal to overtake them.

If Italy fails to beat CR or Uruguay, England is definitely out.
