That was my prediction from the get-go, and I hope it does come to pass. I root for Holland, but with the way that Germany has played today, I think I would be happy to see either team win.

And I'm latin, but I'd rather see Holland defeat Argentina.

I was rooting for American teams all the way but forget that, the cup for the best team and right now its Germany and Holland. Either team deserve it more than Brazil or Argentina.

That's what happens when you got a weak team centered around one superstar, just like Portugal...
At least Scolari will be history now, I never liked that coach and many Brazilians don't like him, either. There has been quite some criticism of his strategies, his un-Brazilian way of soccer.

Brazilian players -> praying like crazy at every possible moment
German players -> not praying and Özil and Khedira not doing Ramadan

the result = 5-0 after 45 minutes

Why do you keep ragging on Argentina? Give it a rest.

How ironic it would be for us to win the WC with a team of mostly young Eredivisie players, when our greatest generation ever (1998-2000) never even got to play a final.
You're preaching to the choir. I tend to prefer more balanced games than this WC has produced. And also, this is not a knock on any team, but a lot of teams have looked lackluster at best even when winning.

It depends. If we're playing the Germany that drew Ghana and needed extra time to beat Algeria, I like our chances. If we're playing the Germany that gave Portugal and Brazil a trashing, not so much And it depends on our own performance as well. The Netherlands that beat Spain 5-1 and completely shut down Chile has nothing to fear against this German team. But if we're as sloppy with our chances as we were against CR or lacking focus as we did against Australia, this German team could walk right over us.

That's assuming we even make it to the final in the first place.

Yes, it would be I would hate to face Brazil in the 3rd place match. They'll be motivated as hell to save whatever dignity they have left.
