Johan Cruyff was better than Eusebio and Puskas.
Can you name the MULTIPLE players of Cruyff's quality that played for these national teams in the last century?

Argentina deserved to be in this final no more than Italy did in 2006 with that ridiculously defensive team that ended up being champions over the much better France of Zidane, Henry, and Trezegue. Ribery was in the bench in that squad! It would be similarly unfair if Argentina wins over the much better Germany today, which has been preparing for many years for this win. Let's hope the soccer gods do justice today.

That was a pretty clear penalty. Robben had blown by Silva and it was a clear goal scoring chance. The ref was nice by not giving him a straight red.

I am hoping the Netherlands are able to win the 2016 Euro before the main players retire from international duty to make way for the solid youth the Dutch have.

As a result, people are very divided, some see the need to root for our main rival as the only way to increase our humiliation and prevent reelection of our disastrous politicians (as I have explained before) and some are rooting for Germany for simple admiration of their conduct.

These are words from Lukas Podolski, which was posted in our official language, Portuguese, and I'm translating here:

"Respect the yellow jersey! The world of football owes a lot to Brazil, which is and will always be the nation of the game. We all grew up watching Brazil play, our heroes that inspired us came all from Brazil"
Brazil is the greatest football nation that exists. Italy and Germany are still a notch below Brazil. The german team ever since arriving at Campo Bahia has started a charm offensive towards the brazilian people.

You are right with Argentina. Actually neiter the Netherlands nor Argentina would have to deserved to go to the final. In my opinion the real final already has been played, which was Germany - France. France was clearly a superior team than the Netherlands and Argentina.

This Germany team doesn't exist anymore. Ever since Lahm changed to the right back position Germany is a totally different team and is clicking on all cylinders. But what you say applies to Argentina even more so. If Argentina plays against Germany like they played against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran, Nigeria and Switzerland then Argentina will be humiliated by this exceptional German Side.

No, he suggested that the Netherlands are the better team than Germany because of a slightly better winning record. Which is ridiculous because Germany dominated the Netherlands at the Euro 2012 and went undefeated in 2 exhibtion matches against the Netherlands the last 3 years. In 2011 they even completely dominated the Netherlands.

It was a free kick yes but not a penalty, it was just outside the box.

Based on what? France did not face a real quality team until Germany and they lost that game. Meanwhile, the Netherlands beat Spain, Chile, Mexico and Brazil and drew Argentina. I was impressed by France as well but there's no reason to say they were "clearly better" than the Netherlands or Argentina. You are so biased it's not even funny.

That's not at all what he said. He simply asked whether there was a team that had the same back-to-back WC record in terms of games won and Germany is not it (as they've won 10 games compared to our 12). That's why I have no idea why you have to bring up World Cups that were won decades ago or results from friendly games. Everyone knows Germany has a better WC record than us (as well they should have, considering their much bigger population), there's no need to be so obnoxious about it and bring it up when it's not even relevant
