Strootman suffered a serious injury and will be out for 6 months so he won't be at the WC This is a huge blow to the Dutch team. He was one of Van Gaal's three "untouchables" along with Robben and Van Persie.

At this point, I'll be glad if we even make it out of the group stage. I doubt it'll be easy with Spain and Chile there. And if we survive that, Brazil is waiting for us in the next round

Relax Sophie.
Drink a couple of Quilmes (or mate) and wait a little longer (93 days?).

germany is a machine. it's hard to hate them if you like good football but hard to love them if you're not german. i hate how much i love them lol
Of course a great team. And it wouldn't be bad for maybe half of the US team to play every weekend in the Bundesliga or the EPL or (fill in European league). Mr. Klinsmann has a tough job. I don't know how far the US will go but it will be an uphill battle. If they get out of the first round it will be due to athleticism, drive and desire. Their team psychology will be key.
