The way Costa Rica is playing, I'm not so sure England has a chance. They've been attacking like mad against the Italian defense and were robbed a penalty. Balotelli had some chances but that's about it for them. Costa Rica has most of the possession and wants to win. Italy is going to have a tough time. They'll have an even tougher time with Uruguay and Suarez who are playing total football.

This might be a cup for America.

how does a small third world resort country known for scuba diving, beaches, and coffee kick the ass of a industrialized Euro country where foosball is the bomb?

I disagree. Netherlands has had a strong showing, and it was the runner-up at the last cup. At the rate it's going, it could certainly win. Brazil couldn't even defeat Mexico, for crying out loud. I think the final will come down to Netherlands vs Germany.

No way America will win it. Germany, Netherlands, Argentina, Uruguay will all beat America comfortably. A good showing against Ghana who in itself is a poor team doesnt prove much. Dont get too excited lol

Pretty sure he meant America as in North/South America. Not just the United States.

And now England Joins Spain, Australia and Cameroon as being out of the World Cup. What a run by Costa Rica as they will advance to the knockout round.

England out sucks. I kind of figured though as you can see from my predictions but didn't think CR was gonna advance.

I feel better about the US's struggles against Costa Rica in qualifying, even though we won at least once, I can't remember the other qualifier. CR is a pretty solid team.
