Yellow card then red card for every flop. Basically they're saying the refs are incompetent and can't see contact unless some *****-*** dramatic histrionic demonstration is made.

Flopping is dishonest and... un-American:

That idea [of flopping], though, runs contrary to the ethos of idealized American sports. As [World Cup assistant Tab] Ramos said, American athletes are typically honest on the field, no doubt influenced by years of being told to be strong, battle through contact and finish the play. The tendency of American soccer players to eschew diving, [ex-player Kyle] Martino said, is directly related to the fact that diving is one of the things that soccer critics in the United States rail against so passionately.

How come no one is talking about chile? They've been amazing knocking out Spain.

France and Chile came out of nowhere. True dark horses.

So far, France is the ONLY "traditional" team that is making an impressive job in this World Cup.

Germany and the Netherlands are not "traditional"?

DiMaria needs to wake the hell up and realise that the world cup has started. If he fed Messi the way he does Ronaldo for RM, we would have had 6 more goals already.

Higuaín looks awful, overweight and unfit. Ugh.

What a bad call in the Nigeria-Bosnia match. Dzeko was clearly onside on his goal that was disallowed.
