Messi is clearly a baller. He's a more prolific scorer than Ronaldinho (though he plays in the box more). But soccer is not all about scoring. When I look at the complete package, and how both are able to manipulate the ball, I award it to Ronaldinho hands down.

If there was no Messi , then Ronaldo would be the best at the time. But Messi is out of this world. He can do everything. Shot, pass, finish, dribble, run with the ball. And he is extremaly honest in it. He is so true. Like a kid on the school yard. Like everyone of us when we were enjoying like crazy when we were scoring our goals on the field nearby home.

Ronaldo has been the better player for the past year. He's faster and taller so much better at head play. Messi gets shut down by physical clubs like Chelsea.

Ronaldo is at the same level ( if not better ) as messi right now , were Ronaldo not so egotistical , he would be rated higher IMO , people like a sportsman who appears modest and that is messi
as for the comparison between ronaldhinio and messi , redicolous , messi is in the top five of all time where as the freaky Brazilian is not even close to the top ten
