While I enjoyed your elaborate prayer to baby Jesus, AVB would cost way too much... and I can't begin to picture him in Atlanta.

I think American coaches need to coach in Europe, and find success, before the reverse happens.

Perhaps, but after his tumultuous time at Tottenham, I don't see him returning to the EPL or coaching in La Liga or the Bundesliga anytime soon. He might just be desperate enough to spend a few years in the States to rebuild his career on a more visible stage than Russia. Besides, coaches aren't subject to the salary cap, so who Arthur Blank gets he can pay as much as he wants (and his pockets are deep). Not that I don't hope your unequivocally, 100%, right.

For those who doubted the success of MLS in Atlanta. 11,000 season ticket holders already and the first game is 3 years away. Wow!

You cant get excited over anything right now, when they're in their third season and still have great figures then you can boast on them. All the teams had badass attendances the first couple of seasons.

I may make a trip once a year down to Atlanta. Its only a 4 hour drive from Charlotte. The wife likes staying at the Omni Hotel so it wouldn't be hard to convince her to go. I am hoping an ATL team will bring in more European teams for summer friendly's.

11,000 season tickets for a team with no history is pretty impressive. Specially for an American city the size of Edinburgh.

Keep in mind, the Atlanta Metro area is around 5 million. Edinburgh's isn't even 1 million...
